The Township of Centre Wellington (the “Township”) is seeking to establish a Qualified Vendor Roster (“QVR”) to provide electrical contractor services at various Township facilities as further described in Section 4  – Deliverables.

The QVR will be broken down into two categories. 

• Category A – Commercial/Institutional

• Category B – Industrial (Water & Wastewater Treatment Plants)

This prequalification applies to various electrical projects including electrical repairs and maintenance. The following are representative of the services which may be required. This is not an all-inclusive list. Other types of repairs and electrical services may be required:

• repair or replacement of various lighting equipment and controls
• repair or replacement of distribution wiring
• repair or replacement of existing electrical wiring
• repair or replacement of starters and various switchgear
• repair or replacement of various relays and control components
• troubleshooting and tracing electrical circuitry
• fault locating
• repair of underground faults
• repair or replacement of primary and secondary conductors and related equipment
• repair or replacement of panel boards
• connection and disconnecting of various equipment as required
• repair and troubleshoot instrumentation and maintenance of control systems
• inspect and test operation of instruments and systems to diagnose faults using electrical and electronic testing devices and precision measuring instruments
• perform installation of process control instrumentation such as transmitters, controllers, analyzers and control valves
• calibrate and replace components and instruments according to manufacturers' specifications
• perform scheduled preventive maintenance work and complete test and maintenance reports
• read and interpret instruction manuals, blueprints and control system drawings
• complete all written and electronic records (i.e. work orders, calibration sheets, material requests) required to document the work in progress and as it is completed
• comply with standards and procedures of the Occupational Health & Safety Regulations
