Description: 

The Township is looking for a Qualified Contractor to comple the upgrade of the UV system at the Fergust Wastewater Treatmetn Plant. Scope of work includes but is not limited to the following:

  • Drainage of the UV channels and diversaion of the effluent flow to CELL No. 2 of the contact chamber
  • Removal and demolition of:
    • The existing UV system including the two (2) UV modules, power distribution centres (PDC);
    • The two (2) hand gates upstread of the UV modules;
    • The davit crane; and
    • Removal of the electrical components and instrumentation as listed in the document.
  • All equipment removed will be disposed of by the Contractor.
  • Cleaning and preparing the channels for the installation of the sluice gates dn the new UV systems.
  • Supply and install the new electrically sluice gates, the new UV modules and the associated PDC, the new lifting decise, and the floor mounted stand.
  • Installation and connection of the electrical equipment and instrrumentation as described in the document.
  • Comissioning and testing of the sluice gates and the new UV system.
