Culvert Rehabilitation - Structure 4-N and 7-N Two existing concrete box culverts require minor concrete repairs. These culverts are approximately 5.0m span structures located in the former Nichol Township near the village of Alma. Both culverts require concrete chip and patch repairs. Steel beam guide rail will be installed at Structure 7-N. The following is a general but not necessarily a complete description of the works:
Structure Demolition - Structure 30-P and Gzowski St Abutment Wall Bridge 30-P has been closed for many years and requires removal. It is located south of the village of Alma. The Gzowski St abutment wall that requires removal is part of an old railway bridge and is in Fergus. The primary work for both demolition projects consists of concrete demolition, concrete removal, regrading and slope restoration.
