Well F1 located at 295 Queen Street East in Fergus, ON, is a deep bedrock well permitted to supply raw water at 21.2 L/s. Primary disinfection is achieved through free chlorine disinfection to achieve 2-Log virus inactivation. The current configuration of the facilities’ chlorine room has no direct emergency exit to the building exterior and lacks proper HVAC equipment and alarming. These safety items are to be corrected with the proposed upgrades |
