The Township of Centre Wellington is seeking a qualified consultant to provide services and make recommendations on the rehabilitation and reimagination of Confederation Park in Fergus. This project aims to:

• enhance the park’s amenities
• enhance user experience
• optimize functionality
• improve community accessibility; and
• preserve the natural environment, 

Key deliverables of the project include:

• Engagement Report: Attend and execute engagement opportunities coordinated by the Township. Provide a final summary report of the information collected from the engagement and how it was included in the project.
• Schematic Design of the rehabilitated Confederation Park, inclusive of feedback from staff and the Engagement Report.
• Project CLASS D budget – include an affordable  improvement project plan within the proposed project budget, addressing the key priorities for the park. Any improvements that cannot be included within the project budget can be identified as other options for consideration (provisional items). Provide estimated costs for those provisional items.  
• Identify and provide a summary of all investigative studies that would be required to perform the work included in the Schematic Design (i.e., topographic survey, legal survey, geotechnical studies, etc.). Include the scope of work required and the estimated cost of those in the proposed CLASS D budget.
